Bonding – For teeth that have cavities, decay, fractures, chips, discoloration, and gaps, this procedure helps to heal and conceal all that. A resin/plastic bonding material matching the tooth’s enamel natural color is applied to the tooth as restorative procedure.

Braces – Crooked teeth, underbite, or overbite; this metal procedure helps correct the alignment of teeth. This procedure is done by connecting the teeth with brackets and elastics to exert a steady pressure on the teeth and move them in a certain direction.

Bridges and Implants – If you have missing teeth, these are two options that will help fill in the gaps. Bridges are false teeth connecting between neighboring teeth while implants have artificial roots used to support replacement teeth.

Crowns and Caps – These are dental restorations that help protect damaged, broken and or cracked teeth and prevent anything from affecting the gums inside the tooth.

Dentures – As we get older, or if we get into accidents wherein we lose a large number or even all of our teeth, false teeth are created to replace the ones that were lost. They can either be partial or full dentures.

Extractions – Teeth need to be removed either if they are severely damaged and causing infections or are overcrowding the other teeth causing misalignments.

Fillings and Repairs – For teeth damaged by cavities or trauma, this restoration procedure is used to remove the damage parts and replace it with dental fillings.

Gum Surgery – Periodontal, otherwise known as gum disease, is an infection that affects both the gums and jaw bone which can lead to gum and teeth loss. It begins as gingivitis and becomes more serious into periodontitis which will require surgery to reverse the effects of the disease.

Oral Cancer Examination – In the cells of the mouth, tongue or throat, is where oral cancer begins to show signs. An examination is usually a routine part wherein your dentist will feel for lumps, or irregular tissue changes inside your mouth, on your face, head, and neck. This may also include discolored tissue or sores in the mouth.

Root Canals – If a tooth is severely damaged and infected with abscess, the infected tissue must be cleaned out in the center of the tooth and then filled and sealed.

Sealants – This is a special material applied to the surface of teeth to prevent decay and is mostly used in the back teeth which are harder to clean.
Teeth Whitening – The color of our teeth naturally darken with age, food, drinks, drugs, smoking, and trauma. Dark teeth aren’t physically appealing so a number of whitening options are available.

Veneers – These are strong, thin pieces of resin or ceramic material bonded to the teeth to repair chips, decays, stains and close gaps.

Depending on the current state of our teeth, dentists can judge what kinds of dental procedures are needed in order to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth.
